ABOUT ME
I'm James,
Twenty nine and behind James Giblin Photography. ​I live in the North West of England, Widnes in Cheshire. I have grown up around these parts and often travel to all the best North West destinations. ​I have recently started my journey into wedding and family photography, I have been doing lots of landscape and cityscape photography for a number of years. I was recently asked to photograph a family wedding and I instantly fell in love with this type of photography! ​There's something special about being behind the camera. I love spotting moments that pass so quickly and making them last forever in a photograph. It sounds cheesy I know! It doesn't matter if it isn't a technically perfect photo, emotion overrides perfection - it's taken me a long time to realise this. Telling the story of each wedding is important to me. When you look back at your photos there's a beginning, middle and end to each gallery. I want you to get that excited feeling in your stomach when you look at them!
After being asked to step in last minute at a family wedding, I really fell I love with being able to capture special moments on such a beautiful day for the Bride and Groom. I was certainly nervous when I got asked to capture their special day, but they said my work was outstanding and felt I would be able to capture their special day perfectly. ​feel my style is a light and natural look, this allows you to be yourself on the day and I'll just blend in capturing those moments without you even knowing. I love getting those unique aspects which create a much more personal feel. I want you to remember the day from start to finish when you're looking back at your pictures.
